Yellow beans porridge with champignons and meatloaf

Porridges are certainly delicious and should not always be sweet. In Slovakia, where I come from, we eat them regularly made from all legumes and with meatloaf, bacon, sausages, fried egg or fried rissoles. Blessed, nutritious, healthy, full of proteins and budget friendly.

Preparation time 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS .. 4-6 pers

  • 500 g yellow beans
  • 200 g champignons
  • 250 ml cream
  • 40 g oil
  • 60 g onion
  • salt & pepper


Fry an chopped onion in the pan, add washed, cleaned and chopped yellow beans, cleaned, washed and sliced ​​mushrooms and diced potatoes. Season with salt and stew in their own juice. When ready, add the cream and season with ground black pepper.

Serve with fried rissoles, → roast meat or fried egg.
