Zucchini mush

Another cheap and yummy dish of Slovak cuisine. Works well with fried egg or baked sausages.

Preparation time 45 minutes


  • 2 little zucchini
  • 1 onion, shredded
  • 1 clove of garlic pressed
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • oil
  • 2-3 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • salt


Wash the zucchini’s cut the ends of and grate them into the kitchen machine. In a saucepan bake the onion and garlic until glazed and add the grated courgettes. Add a little salt and soften them. Once soft, sprinkle with the flour and mix. Then add the sour cream and boil until thickened. If necessary, season the garlic with some salt and finally add the chopped dill. Mix and finish.

Serve with a mirrored or baked sausage.
