Pure farmers’ costs, but tremendously tasty and definitely a comfort food.
Preparation time 20 minutes .. Baking 60 minutes
INGREDIENTS .. 3 pers
- 1/2 ponds of potatoes
- 3 chicken thighs
- 9 thin slices smoked bacon
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 pound Brussels sprouts
- 3 slices Cheddar cheese
- 3 slices butter
- olive oil
- pepper & salt
PREPARATION
Aluminium foil with olive oil. Layer it on slices of sliced, olied and flavored potatoes. Add some spring onions and on top put the chicken leg wrapped in a cheese and slices of bacon. Finally, add a few pieces of Brussels sprouts on top and put a small slice of butter. Wrap everything carefully in aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 392°F for about 1 hour.
Serve with a glass of well-chilled beer or wine.
