Typical, French, upside down baked pie with aromatic pears.
Preparation time 35 minutes .. Baking 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS .. 4 pers
- 225 g bladerdeeg
- 10 pears, peeled, trimmed and cut into 4 pieces
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp anise
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp finely grated nutmeg
PREPARATION
Heat the spices in a pan tarte tatin
Add the butter and sugar, stirring with a wooden spoon to obtain a light caramel
Arrange the pear quarters aesthetically tight on the caramel.
Put the pie crust over on the way out the edges.
Bake at preheated oven at 400°F for 30 minutes.
Let cool for ten minutes before removing from pan.
