Red wine sauce with blueberries

Another sauce with blueberries. Perfect for meat. I can’t stay away.

Preparation time 30 minutes

  • 2 chopped shallots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 2 bayleaf
  • 3 spring of thyme
  • 2 dl of red wine
  • 1 dl of meat fond
  • 150 g blueberries
  • salt & pepper

Add the wine, bouillon, herbs and blueberries together in the saucepan and cook for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, pour the sauce into a high cup and remove the herbs. Puree the sauce in a blender and cook over high heat until the sauce thickens. When she is ready add some fresh berries in and let them warm up the sauce. Ready.

Tastes great with fried pork, rabbit, duck or venison.
