Super ready-to-eat apples. Preserving and open in case of need. This way you always have apples ready for quick cakes, side dishes or as a healthy snack for kids.

I processed my 3 kg of fresh and seasonal apples, but you can easily make more.
The procedure is simple: clean the apples, remove the apple core and grate them. Then pres the juice out of them (by hand, or as me – see the picture below) and put them into jars and press them really well after each portion (to be duly stuff).
The sterilizing can be done either by classic way – in the cooking pot, or in the dishwasher. If you chose for sterilizing in cooking pot, put very well closed jars with apples into the pot, poor the water almost to the lids and bring to a boil. When the temperature of the water gets up to 85°, count 25 minutes for sterilizing. After take the jars out of the pot and let them cool down.
To sterilize in the dishwasher: arrange filled and tightened jars in the dishwasher and start wash program – the best on 70°C. When the program is over, you’ll have sterilized and beautiful washed jars. Still warm, turn them upside down and let cool down.
These apples are very appreciate if you’ll get some unexpected visitors. Then only you’ll have to do is open a jar with already prepared grated apples.
