Dried cherries

You can also use them as candy but also as an “added value” for pastries and cakes, as a decoration for desserts or ice cream glass. Or just as a healthy snack.

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Drying 3 hours minutes .. Storage in sealed bag or airtight container


  • 300 g cherries


Preheat the oven up to 165°F.

Wash the cherries, drain and remove the style voice. Pitted and cut each cherry into 4 slices.

Smaller cherries is best to cut only in halves.

Place them cut side up on a lined baking tray and dry them for 3 hours in preheated oven.

The cherries are dry when after squeezing moisture let go.

Once they are dried, allow pieces to rest at room temperature for about an hour before packaging. Then store in airtight containers or sealed bags.

Makes 70 grams of dried cherries.
