Ozembuch’s fingers

Do you also sum as a gusting to cook it yourself rather on the ground would strike? Voilà, that’s why this name of the dish.

Preparation time 20 minutes


  • 300 g cod, or other white fish
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 thick tbsp honey mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh, chopped dill
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 125 g whole grain rice
  • salt & pepper


Cook the rice in salted water, drain and keep warm until use.

Meanwhile, heat a little oil in the pan and fry briefly the mustard in it. Add sour cream and reduce to a sauce. Season with salt and pepper and keep warm until use.

Cut the fish into finger, season with salt and pepper, roll in flour and fry in hot butter in the pan.

Serve the fingers on a bed of rice, drizzled with the sauce and glass of white wine or beer.
