Fantastic, aromatic butter crust for pies and pastries.
Preparation time 10 minutes .. Cooling 35 minutes
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 yolk
- a bit of ginger spices (in case of plum tart, others not necesarily)
- pinch of salt
- grated lime zest
- grated lemon zest
- grated orange zest
Mound the flour on a work surface in a circle. The middle of the ring insert all the other ingredients and develop a homogeneous dough. Wrap the dough in plastic and put into the refrigerator 35 minutes to rest.
Wrapped in foil, the dough can be stored in the refrigerator for a further 5 days.
