The most simple garlic soup

I don’t believe there is something more simple, cheaper or healthier than this pure simplicity, so enjoyable in cold winter days. You can eat it with croutons or simply drink it out of a cup. Only detail: garlic is not only natural antibiotic, but decreases the blood pressure so you might feel slightly sleepy after. But it’s so great in the evening 😉

Preparation time 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS .. 4-6 pers

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp red pepper powder
  • 1,5 l water
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • salt & pepper

PREPARATION

Fry the crushed garlic in lard. Add paprika powder, cook briefly so she does not become bitter and add the flour. Make a roux, pour it with water and bring to the boil. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. I have it also added the remaining soup shaving from Christmas. Boil together and ready.

Serve with croutons or bread or breadsticks desired.
