Wholemeal shortbread dough

Original, French dough for cakes and savory snacks.

Preparation time 7 minutes .. Cooling 30 minutes


  • 250 g wholemeal flour
  • 120 g chilled butter
  • 120 g curd in spread
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt


Mix together all ingredients first in the bowl and after on the surface. If sticky add little bit of flour. Cover with foil and set in to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

After cooling is the dough ready to be processed into cakes, appetizers or quiches.
