Smoked salmon en leek pie

Delicious, savory pie with smoked salmon, leek and sweet red pepper.

Preparation time 20 minutes .. Baking 15-20 minutes


  • 200 g puff pastry (or gluten free alternative)
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 1 leek, in rings
  • 1 sweet pepper, in thin strips
  • 50 g grated cheese
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp dried thyme
  • salt & pepper


Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Fold the sides of the dough to form an edge and prick with a fork on the dough.

Bake the leek and the pepper strips on olive oil with a little salt and pepper. Not long but good. Let cool down.

Cut the slices of smoked salmon into small pieces in the bowl. Add the ready made vegetables, one or two chopped eggs and thyme. Mix well together and spread evenly on the dough. Sprinkle with a little grated cheese and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes.

Serve with a glass of white wine or beer.
