Rabbit pies

Fantastic pie of rabbit fillet, spinach and feta cheese. Soft, quickly made and light to digest.

Preparation time 25 minutes .. Baking 10-15 minutes


  • 600 g rabbit fillets
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 120 g feta cheese
  • 450 g young spinach
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • cube of butter & little olive oil
  • salt & pepper


Cook the spinach briefly in a pan with chopped garlic and little olive oil, season with salt and pepper and let the spinach, drain well.

Crumble the feta cheese and mix among the spinach. Let it cool completely.

Season the rabbit fillets with salt and pepper and fry briefly in small cube of butter.
Divide the spinach with the feta cheese over the pastry sheet and arrange the rabbit fillets. Roll out the pastry tightly around the rabbit fillets and place them face down on a baking sheet with the seam. Repeat with the rest of ingredients.

Bake the rabbit pies in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Cut the quiche into thick slices and serve with for example a cucumber-tomato salad.
