Penne with poppy

One of the most popular child classics of Slovak kitchen.

Preparation time 25 minutes


  • 250 g penne
  • 5 tbsp poppy seed
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar
  • 130 g butter


Grind the poppy seeds, mix with icing sugar and set aside.
Cook penne al dente and drain. Bundle pasta with the poppy seed mixture and mix well together. Melt the butter, pour it on the pasta, mix everything together and serve immediately.
