Frosties

After decorating of honey cookies I sometimes have too much glazing over. So I decided to use it in a quick experiment. The result are delicious, crunchy cookies which I call Frosties.

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Baking ± 10 minutes .. Durability non due too yummy

INGREDIENTS .. 2 pers

  • rest of the frosting for honey cookies (cca.1/2 egg white + 75 g powdered sugar – whipped)
  • ± 100 g ground walnuts

PREPARATION

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the glazing together with ground walnuts. If the mass is too liquid, add some vanilla sugar and ground walnuts. Using two spoons form on the covered baking sheet the heaps but keep them cca.3 cm apart of each other. The cookies will melt a little while baking.

Bake them at 180°C for about 10 minutes. The baking time depends on the type and quality of your oven. Keeping an eye on cookies is the message.

When they are finished, a pink, crispy crust forms around them. Take them out of the oven, put them on a rack and let cool.

And enjoy!
