Original recipe calls for apples instead of fennel. But we like it more like this.
Preparation time 10 minutes .. Baking 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS .. 4 pers
- 230 g puff pastry (or gluten free version)
- 2 little fennels, in stripes
- 200 g Brie cheese
- olive oil
- handful walnuts
- salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Clean the fennel, halve and remove the heart and cut it into 5mm thick strips. Stir the fennel afterwards on the olive oil, but not until soft. Only bite
Roll the sides of the puff pastry on a piece of cake. Divide the fennel and put on the fennel slices of brie. Sprinkle the cake with a little oil and sprinkle with broken walnuts. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Serve with cider, or white wine.
