Crispy Quiche

Delicious dining in the warm spring days. Who really can not live without meat, can also add thinly sliced ham. But we love the taste rather pure and crisp. Need a gluten-free quiche? Then use our gluten-free puff pastry. →

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Baking 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS .. 4 pers

  • 7-8 shallots
  • 1 leek
  • 230 g butter puff pastry
  • 120 g coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 200 g Gruyère cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 dl sour cream
  • 50 g butter
  • salt & pepper

PREPARATION

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Cut the shallots into rings. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the shallots.

Grease a quiche mould with butter and cover them with puff pastry. Put the fried shallots and leek into the pie crust and sprinkle them with grated Gruyère cheese and walnuts.

Beat the eggs with the sour cream, season with salt and pepper and pour the mixture over the shallots and cheese on the bottom.

Bake for about 30 minutes in the oven.

Serve with fresh green salad seasoned with slightly sourish vinegar.
