Cod with potato crust

Delicious combination of seafood and vegetables with tasty crust.

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Baking 20 minutes


  • 2 large waxy potatoes
  • 4 pieces cod fillet
  • 3 leeks
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 egg
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 50 g butter
  • few tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper


Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Chop the shallot and parsley. Mix the potatoes, shallots and parsley with the breadcrumbs and egg. Season with salt and pepper.

Drizzle a baking pan with a little olive oil. Put herein cod and season with salt and pepper. Cover with the potato mixture and slide into the oven. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C.

Meanwhile Clean the leeks and cut stumps of 7 cm in length. Sauté the leeks with a little butter and water in a sealed cover. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the fish with leeks.
