Fantastic cream pudding to fulfill cakes, pastries, French Eclairs, →, Choux, → or Paris Brest. → Pudding lovers can prepare it only for their sweet tooth.
Preparation time 30 minutes
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 100 g pudding powder (vanilla pudding)
- 2 yolks from bigger eggs
- 1 vanilla pod
Put the milk on the fire with half the sugar and open vanilla pod. Mix pudding powder with the other half of the sugar. Add to this some of the lukewarm milk together with the egg yolks and mix it well- this is called the composition.
As the milk boils, take the vanilla pod out and pour a little boiling milk in composition and mix well. Pour the composition into boiling milk while constantly stirring for about two minutes. Pour hot cream immediately in a bowl and cover completely with plastic foil. Through the foil, there is no solidified skin on the surface of the pastry cream. Let everything cool quickly in the refrigerator (about 30 minutes).
