Soup of tomato puree

An thematic soup. And the theme was: I’m lazy and want something to eat.

Preparation time 55 minutes

INGREDIENTS .. 4 pers

  • 1 liter of broth (1 liter of water and 2 bouillon tablets)
  • 500 ml liquid tomato puree
  • 1 can of concentrated tomato puree
  • 100 grams of rice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion
  • parsley
  • salt & pepper

PREPARATION

Bring 1 liter of water to the boil and add to the broth two tablets. When the broth boils, then add to it: the tomato, onion, rice and a bay leaf. Put the lid on the pan and turn the heat to low. Let the tomato half an hour quietly simmering. Taste the soup with sugar, salt and pepper and remove the bay leaf from the soup.

Just before serving, add the chopped parsley to the soup.
