INGREDIENTS .. 3 baking sheets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup buckwheat flour
- ½ teaspoon dried yeast
- 3 tsp golden sesame seeds
- 3 tsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp mosterd seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a mixing bowl combine both of flours, baking powder, golden and white sesame seeds, mosterd seeds and salt. Then add in the olive oil and water. Mix with a spoon until it comes together and then knead with your hand on the floured surface until it’s a smooth dough. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky. Add more water if it’s too crumbly.
On a lightly floured parchment paper, roll out the dough as thin and even as possible. Use more flour if you need to.
Cut the dough with a pizza cutter and lay down individual crackers carefully onto a baking sheet, lied in with a baking paper or foil.
Bake them in the oven for about 15 minutes until they get crispy. They are delicious with whatever kind of pesto, homemade hummus or as a side dish with salad or even soup!
