Quail fillet with surprise

New recipe from the series Desperate housewifes. This time with baked peach and elder & blueberry ketchup. Delicious, simple and fast menu.

Preparation time 20 minutes


  • 16 quail fillets
  • 4 peaches
  • 2 boiling bags of rice
  • handful of blue raisins
  • 4 tbsp bubble ketchup
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 50 g butter
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • salt & pepper


Boil water for the rice in a pot along with raisins and 1 teaspoon salt according to package directions. Drain and mix the rice with 1 tbsp oil and raisins. Set aside.

Meanwhile, bring the orange juice to a boil. Add the brown sugar and halved peaches cut side down. Let the peaches bake each side for about 5-7 minutes.

Put the oil and butter in a pan and heat them. Bring the quail fillets with salt and pepper and fry until cooked on both sides.

Serve the fillets on warmed plates with raisin rice. Put on every board two fried peaches and fill the center of the peaches with 1 tsp of bubble ketchup.
