Pumpkin – celeriac pins

Revolt against shopping means cooking with wat is still at home. And this is a super yummy result of cheap, delicious and healthy pins.

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Baking 30 minutes


  • 1/3 butter pumpkin
  • 1/3 celeriac
  • 2 thick carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 4-5 tbsp oats
  • 2-3 eggs
  • sunflower oil
  • peper en zout


Peel the pumpkin, the carrots and the potatoes. Put all vegetables except garlic in a kitchen robot and grate them.
Put the grated vegetables in the bowl together with all remaining ingredients (except sunflower oil) and mix them well.
Heat the oil in the bottom of a pan and make 4 of the vegetable mixture in the pan. Bake the pins from both sides and place them on a board covered with kitchen paper.

Bake the remaining mass until all the pins are baked.

Serve with a heap of sour cream, or a salsa of your choice and with a glass of cider or white beer / wine.
