Philip’s iceberg salad

Light, juicy and incredibly tasty salad for a meat-free day. Delicious as it’s prepared for you by your husband 😉

Preparation time 15 minutes


  • 1/2 iceberg salad, broken
  • 1 sweet red pepper, in chunks
  • 4 spring onion, in rings
  • 4 cherry tomatoes, in small pieces
  • 200 g hard cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice


  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • salt & pepper


I love moments when my husband is busy in the kitchen. And after a while, this was a fantastic moment.

Combine all ingredients in the bowl and mix wel. Add Worchestershire sauce and lemon juice and mix again.

For the dressing, mix olive oil, garlic, and oregano in a bowl with a wire whisk. Stir in vinegar, gradually beating to form an emulsion, and then season with salt and pepper.

Serve with bread and enjoy !

Who can not live without meat, add a Chorizo ​​in rings. But the salad will be delicious also with ham.
