Leek butter

Such kinds of butters are very popular in Slovakia. We make them literally of everything and they are truly irresistible.

Preparation time 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS .. 4 pers

  • 1/2 of an big leek
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 100 g Maredsous Dubbelroom cheese
  • 50 g milky butter
  • salt & pepper

PREPARATION

Cut the leeks lengthwise into very thin strips and further into small pieces. Put the leeks now in a blender, add the boiled and sliced egg, double cream cheese, salt and pepper and mix until smooth butter.

Put the butter in a bowl and put to use in the refrigerator.

Blessed on crackers for parties, or just spread on your bread, with salami or ham for breakfast.
