Decorative biscuit for most beautiful and delicious cakes and pastries.
Preparation time 20-25 minutes .. Baking 6-8 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 30 g soft butter
- 30 g icing sugar
- 30 g egg white (cca from 1 egg)
- 30 g flour, sieved
- liquid food coloring (as desired)
2 x JOCONDE BISCUIT (1 baking tray 40 x 30 cm)
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 pound almond broyage 50/50
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/3 cup egg whites
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
CIGARETTES DOUGH
Beat the softened butter with the icing sugar into a cream. Mix alternately not beaten egg whites and the sifted flour underneath. Add the desired liquid dye. Divide the dough on a cigarette bakmatje non-stick. Pull a plastic comb with a portion of the dough away cigarettes. Place it in the refrigerator or freezer until the dough has hardened cigarettes.
JOCONDE BISCUIT
Beat the eggs, almond broyage 50/50 and flour until a light batter. Make a thick foam with egg whites and sugar and fold into the mixture. Mix the melted butter into the mixture briefly.
Divide the Joconde biscuit evenly on a baking tray 40 x 30 cm covered cigarettes dough and bake in a preheated oven at 428°F for about 6-8 minutes.
Prepare and bake the Joconde biscuit once more and after the cooling cut of two bases for the cake.
The Joconde biscuit can be sprinkled before baking with almond shavings, chocolate shavings, pieces of nuts or dried fruits.
