Cranberry pie with compote ®

After Martin’s apple slice I had some dough over. So I decided to create a new tartlet. The result is a delicious, slightly sour tart with delicious compote of cranberries and vanilla.

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Cooling 1 hour .. Baking 15-20 minutes



Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Prepare the dough as described in the recipe of the link and let it rest for an hour in the refrigerator. I had some dough over from the last pie so no work more required 😉

Prepare the compote as described in the second link or take it out of your basement as me.

Roll the pastry and line the tart tins with it. Spread the compote over the tarts and close each tart with a circle of dough. Brush the pastry with beaten egg, prick several times with a fork and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.

Sprinkle the pastry after baking with icing sugar, let them cool and enjoy.
