Butter Pumpkin Antipasto ®

My own recipe. Delicious, easy to make, cheap and perfectly suited for your BBQ as well as sour on your sandwiches.

Preparation time 10 minutes .. Baking 30 minutes


  • 1 butter pumpkin, sliced
  • 3 red onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp 4 spices
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp balsamico cream
  • 1/2 tsp Sil Timur spice
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 handful raisins


Preheat oven to 200°C.
Wash the pumpkin, peel him, cut into two, remove the pits and cut into thinner “strips”. Put them in the kitchen robot and grate them like apples for strüdl. Put the grated pumpkin in a large bowl.
Peel the onions, cut into two and cut into strips. Add them to the pumpkin.
Peel the garlic, cut into small cubes and add to the pumpkin with all the ingredients except sugar.
Finally add the olive oil and mix it all together.

Put all in a vial and bake for 20 minutes. You can stir the mass occasionally, but it does not have to. Add the sugar after 20 minutes, mix well and bake for another 10 minutes.

Ready. Now you can use Antipasto immediately on bruschetta’s or inject him into the boxes for later.
