Favorite cake of our family with a sour cream dough and this time with apricot filling.
Preparation time 20 minutes .. Baking 20-25 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- beaten egg
APRICOT FILLING
- 1 kg apricots, in slices
- 2 x 4 tbsp oat flakes
- 3 tbsp vanilla sugar
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven till 180°C.
Prepare a compact sour cream dough according to the recipe in the link and divide it in half. The first half put in baking dish.
Cover the baking dish with a first half of the dough. Cover the bottom with 4 tbsp of oat flakes and lay on the slices of apricots. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and second half of oat flakes and cover with second half of dough. Brush the cake with beaten egg and prick the top with a fork. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (convection ovens -20°C) between 20-25 minutes or until red.
Let the cake cool and sprinkle before serving with a little icing sugar.
