Originally I wanted to grate the plums as in Martin’s apple slice. → But at the end I decided to follow the advice of my mother – cut the plums in slices and add oatmeal. And it was as it should be. Thank you, Mom 🙂
Preparation time 20 minutes .. Baking 15-20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 6-8 pcs big prunes, washed and in halved
- 4 tbsp oatmeal
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
PRUNE FILLING
PREPARATION
Prepare a compact sour cream dough according to the recipe in the link and divide it in half.
Put the first half in baking dish and sprinkle the bottom lightly with oatmeal.
Cut the plums along the long sides into thin slices. Lay the slices of plum on the oatmeal and sprinkle with vanilla sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cover the cake with second half of dough. Prick the top with a fork. If you have leftover dough like me, press the dough into molds for fondant and make beautiful flowers or other shapes. Put them on top of the cake, brush the cake with beaten egg and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (convection ovens -20°C) between 15-20 minutes or until red.
Let the cake cool and sprinkle before serving with a little powdered sugar.
