Nutty and earthy in flavor, lentils have a high nutritional value that anyone can benefit from by incorporating this healthy legume into their diet. And not only than lentils lower the cholesterol as well as slowing down digestion and stabilizing blood sugar levels.

INGREDIENTS .. 4-6 pers
- 150 g brown lentils
- 150 g little black lentils
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 kohlrabi, thinly sliced
- 2 potatoes cut in little cubes, 1 grated
- 1 grated clove of garlic
- 1 herb bouillon cube
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt & pepper
- finely chopped parsley leaves
PREPARATION
Wash lentils under running water in a sieve or colander and let her for one-two hour soak in water.
Cook soaked lentils, sliced carrots kohlrabi cut into thin slices. Add 2 bay leaves and a var until softened. Add potatoes cut into small cubes, garlic and poor over with water. When the soup begins to boil, add vegetable bouillon cube and boil the soup until the potatoes soften.
Instead roux grate one midl large potato as for the potato pancakes and add to boiling soup. Finish it with salt and pepper and let cook together for a short moment.
Served with finely chopped parsley and dark bread or without.
