Delicious, nutritious, budget friendly and moreover gluten-free dish.

INGREDIENTS .. 4 pers
- 200 g brown lentils, soaked
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 200 ml sour cream
- 1 grated raw potato
- 100 g smoked meat or sausage (optional)
- salt & pepper
PREPARATION
Soak the lentils for about 2 hours before cooking. Let it boil a pot of water. The water must be about a 2-3 cm above the lentils. Add to it diced potatoes, bay leaves, a little salt and pepper and bring to a boil. When starts to boil, add pressed garlic.
Meanwhile, instead of roux of flour clean and grate one raw potato. When the lentils starts to boil, add it to her and mix well. Boiling potato will make the mush concentrated.
Let lentils simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Once cooked, add stirred sour cream, again allow to boil and finally, if you like, add chopped smoked meat, cooked and sliced sausage or smoked bacon.
Serve with brown bread or without it.
For real “eaters” serve together with fried egg.
