Thyme-cough syrup

Strengthens the lungs and is therefore appropriate for bronchitis, asthma, coughs, colds, flu and sore throat.

Preparation time 40 minutes .. Durability up to 1 year

INGREDIENTS .. 2 cups of syrup

  • one pot thyme
  • 2 tsp Liquorice
  • 150 g dark cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp thyme honey
  • 600 ml water

PREPARATION

Cut the thyme sprigs from the pot and wash them well under running water. The corolla have a circumference of 22-25 cm. Add the thyme in a pot, add sweet wood and water. Bring to a boil and cook about 20 minutes.

Strain the stew, add the sugar and cook for 15 minutes, until a thick syrup arises. Turn off the heat, let cool slightly and add the thyme or acacia honey.

Use 1 tbsp 3 times a day.
