Our hot summer frangipane for beautiful moments with family.
Preparation time 15 minutes .. Baking 35 minutes
INGREDIENTS .. 6-8 pers
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Temperature applies to all types of ovens.
Wash all fruits under running water and drain. Then remove the crowns of strawberries, cut the leftover stalks of gooseberries and pitted the remaining fruit.
Prepare the batter according to the recipe in the link.
Since the cake was meant as a little surprise for the family visit, I wanted to bake her in a rectangular form. As I have said elsewhere, I hate shopping, and even the fact that I do not have rectangular cake pan, succeeded not to forced me to buy one. As I’ve finally solved it can be seen on the pictures below. If you wish to follow this example do it further as follows:
The baking tray lined with baking paper. Pour into the prepared tin frangipanebeslag and decorate as desired with fruits. Spread the fruit with melted butter so it will not dry or burn in the oven.
Bake in a preheated oven cca.35 minutes. Allow to cool after baking, brush the fruit with fruit jelly (made of jam). If you have no jelly, cake-use gelatin with appropriate color.
