Apple flowers ®

For us is Valentine actually every day. But to make our breakfast more fun and more festive, I made ​​the pastry in the shape of flowers and filled with real apple pudding. Yummy!

Preparation time 40 minutes .. Rising 30+10+60 minutes .. Baking 12 minutes

INGREDIENTS .. 21 pcs

APPLE PUDDING

  • 700 g apples
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 75 g pudding powder
  • 75 g sugar

APPLE PUDDING

Peel the apples, cut into quarters and remove the cores. Cut the apples into pieces ca.2 cm. Bring the apple juice, sugar and apple pieces to the boil. Allow to boil for 8 minutes, till the pieces of apple do fall apart. Stir the pudding powder by the lawyer to the compote and bring him again to the boil. Allow to cool down.

PREPARATION OF THE FLOWERS

Prepare the dough according to the recipe in the link. Let it rise for 30 minutes. Knead it then just the surface, roll the tire thickness 2,5 mm and move for 10 minutes in the freezer. Cut the dough then the flowers. Put the flowers on baking sheet lined with paper or bakfolie, brush them with beaten egg on the edges, fill with apple pudding and cover with second flower thereon. Press them lightly around the filling, brush again with beaten egg and decorate with chocolate drops.

Let rise for 60 minutes and bake at 220°C (fun ovens -20°C) for 12 minutes.

Spread them immediately after baking with jelly, sprinkle with pistachios and let cool down.
